One good thing to come out of the Budget was the increase in the Annual Investment Allowance (AIA). As of 1st April the AIA will be doubled from £50,000 to £100,000, meaning that annual purchases of qualifying plant and machinery up to £100,000 will be eligible for a fulll tax write-off.
